South Africa is our second home, so we were thrilled to get another opportunity to film there. This trip was the first of several we’ll be making for our client, Black and Veatch, and the footage we captured in Johannesburg and Cape Town will act as a component of a much bigger story that will come out this Summer.
We teamed up with our satellite production partner, Agent K who, as always, made the production not only seamless, but enjoyable for all involved! We were also super excited to have one of our favorite DP’s, August Thurmer, on board.
While in Cape Town we were able to hold the South African premier of A Film About Coffee at a fabulous local cafe called Truth Coffee. We were honored by all those faces, old and new, who helped support the screening. And as we always say, you can’t fly all the way across the world and not have a little down time, so we tacked on a couple days for some fun in the last of the Cape Town summer sun.
